The Technician’s primary responsibilities include: Installation and service of surveillance and access control products Installation of low/high voltage cable (Coax, Structured, Fiber Optic, etc.) Troubleshooting security solutions to isolate and repair technical issues Knowledge of state/national electrical codes; licenses are a plus Computer and/or networking skills a plus. Requirements Applicants must be: Highly motivated with an eye toward quality Able to work independently in the context of a team Ready to learn about our video surveillance and access control products and services Well organized and well groomed Proficient in written and oral communication Familiar with and able to effectively use hand and power tools Comfortable working at heights - 15 to 25 feet above ground Able to lift, carry and handle an 80 pound, 28 foot extension ladder Comfortable working outdoors year-round Able to work overtime hours and overnight as needed
